More about me

I have been drawn to helping young people succeed throughout my adult life. I

have been a math teacher, middle school guidance counselor, and private tutor. I

have coached lacrosse, baseball, and basketball at the middle school and high

school level. My wife and I started a school in 2020 in New Hampshire,

creating a fun environment where students could take control of their own

academic journeys and learn at their own pace. I also founded and ran a tutoring

service that matched students with in home tutors - I ran that business for

ten years and helped hundreds of students improve their grades and confidence. I

am an expert in learning fast - I learned how to program and became a software

engineer without any formal training. I also quickly built a thriving real estate

practice in California that I ran for 10 years. I bring all of these experiences,

perspectives and learning strategies to my tutoring sessions - there are many

ways to approach problems, many ways to think about them, and many ways to

solve them. It is my job to find the way your child learns best and help them

use those strategies successfully. Originally, I minored in math in college, and I

have always had a love of numbers and mathematics. I look forward to
