2001 Toyota Echo for sale by owner - Brooklyn, NY

Asking $3k for this car, a real beater, but ultimately extremely reliable and likely many more miles on her. The car has new tires, alternator, exhaust system and needs some routine repairs (rear shocks, beam bushings, left side axle, front lower control arms) but operates smoothly otherwise. It has 180k miles on it and has had regular oil changes throughout its life. The car has had one owner other than me – a family on the west coast that used the car lightly. The car has a driver side door is in imperfect shape from me backing it into a storage unit in a driveway a few years ago, and has no other accident history. I have not tried to keep the car clean, so the interior is in mediocre shape. The rear trunk is susceptible to leaks when in rains. The only reason I’m selling it is my aunt gifted me her 2016 CRV, but it has been an excellent city car, smooth ride, and stable car for me. Serious inquiries only please.
