Draftsman - Architectural Office - architect / engineer / cad - job employment

Architectural office is looking for a highly motivated Draftsperson with design skills and a keen interest in the built environment to join our team of architects and craftsmen.

Qualified candidates should have a professional degree in architecture or design (BArch, BFA). Excellent communication skills including writing, speaking and drawing are a must and carry significance in our search. Experience in delivering a design to physical realization is a must.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate on design with project team, clients, and consultants

-Draw and 3D model all phases of projects from concept through technical drawings

-Manage drawing sets with discipline

-Render design concepts and details with efficiency

-Assist PMs with zoning analysis, client meetings, material specification, and DOB filing

Required Skills:

-Communication (command of English language a must)

-Hand sketching

-AutoCAD

-3D modeling (Rhino)

-Rendering (Rhino/3D)

-Revit a plus
